The Annual Sports Meet of Jhunjhunu Academy CBSE School, held on December 11, 2024, witnessed an incredible display of athletic talent and sportsmanship. Over 2,000 students from Classes 6 to 12 participated enthusiastically, making the event a grand success.
The day began with an inspiring oath ceremony led by Chairman Dr. Dilip Modi, Director Akash Modi, and Hostel Director Kurda Ram Dhinwa, followed by a torch relay conducted by Senior Sports Captain Ujjwal Saini along with state and national-level athletes. The meet was officially inaugurated by Managing Director Ms. Nirja Modi, who encouraged the participants to give their best.
The first event, a thrilling handball match by the girls’ team, captivated the audience and set the tone for the exciting competitions that followed.

Class 9 to 12 Highlights: The senior category showcased fierce competition, with the 100m races being a highlight. In the Girls’ 100m Race, the winners were Chetna, Sanvi, Ashu, Suhani, and Aanchal, while in the Boys’ 100m Race, Akshay, Kemerin, Ayush, and Lovish secured the top spots.

In the Javelin Throw, the Girls’ event saw Mitali and Lavanya in first, with Mahi taking the top spot in Class 12. In the Boys’ category, Arin, Arnav, and Karthik made their mark across the levels.
Chairman’s Address: Dr. Dilip Modi, in his address, emphasized the importance of balancing education with sports for overall student development. He highlighted that Jhunjhunu Academy always provides students with opportunities to excel in various fields, and such events foster holistic growth.
During the closing ceremony of the competition, Jhunjhunu Academy’s Managing Director Ms. Nirja Modi, School Directors Mr. Akash Modi, Ms. Garima Modi, Executive Director Mr. Ashutosh Modi, Jolly Angels Director Ms. Ranu Modi, Hostel Director Mr. Kurdaram Dhinwa, School Principal Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma, Vice Principal Ms. Saroj Singh, Headmistress Ms. Uma Sharma, Admission Director Mr. Shyam Sundar Sharma, Administrator Mr. Kamlesh Kulhari, along with all the staff members, congratulated and extended their best wishes to the winning students. They honored the winners by presenting them with medals, trophies, and mementos.
